Craft Presentation

The birth of a ceramic cup begins with the fine kneading of raw materials such as kaolin to remove impurities and knead evenly. Then, it is shaped by wheel throwing or mold pressing, followed by trimming to ensure the wall thickness is appropriate and the surface is smooth. After the body dries, it is glazed or decorated using techniques such as dipping or spraying. Finally, it is fired in a kiln at a high temperature of about 1300°C or 1180°C, and only then does the clay body truly transform into a hard, glossy ceramic cup.
